A very demure look this time? I think this is the most covered up I’ve been tbh hahaha. I went to a museum late at the Grant Museum of Zoology featuring a really interesting talk by Jazmine Miles-Long about her taxidermy work – it was super fascinating and it’s really motivated me to actually try out taxidermy because I’ve been interested for years omg. Seeing as I was going to a taxidermy event, I thought it’d be a perfect opportunity to bring out Claude Baguette, my fox stole lol – I found him in some random vintage shop and he’s honestly my favourite winter item because he’s so gotdam soft and warm! I wore lots of floaty sheer items to go with it and I feel like this outfit is like that Japanese style that I can’t remember the name of (?) but either way I love this kind of pastel vintage-y lingerie as outerwear kind of vibe haha.
It’s been sooooo hot lately! Even wearing a t shirt and hoodie I’ve been sweating like hell lol. I thought I’d wear a cute, casual, simple outfit to stay cool but I was still uncomfortably hot. This death grips shirt is my fave tho – they’re one of my top fave bands and it’s oversized enough that I could wear as a short dress if I wanted – just a shame that it’s so hot wearing it on a day like this lol.
Just a little mini review today! Anyone who is a fan of matcha should know about Tsujiri in Soho, they’re a matcha dessert place that’s apparently 155 years old and they exist in like, over 10 countries around the world so I guess they’re a pretty big deal. I love them because they specialise in matcha flavoured things, plus they have hojicha too, which is actually my favourite tea flavour lol!! I also love fad seasonal items so I was pretty excited when I saw they had a sakura cream special range of drinks, especially because it’s pretty rare to see sakura flavoured things here.
So I ended up ordering the Sakura Cream Yuzu Tea (£5.70 size large) as well as the Hojicha Shaved Ice because I always seem to order that lol. The shaved ice is always great and never disappoints – it’s a delicious refreshing shaved ice with matcha, red bean paste, little mochi dumplings, a chestnut (my fave bit) and layers of hojicha soft serve. It never disappoints!!
The Sakura cream tea though…. it was honestly just so weird omg. The cream is like the kind of mousse topping you get at bubble tea places (what IS that topping btw? I can’t figure it out but it’s delicious and I want to know!!!) but instead of like a neutral flavoured cream it’s plum flavoured? Like a sweet, slightly tangy plum cream mousse. This was actually delicious and I loved it but then you mix it with the yuzu tea and it’s like what in the tarnation is this flavour combo? The yuzu tea alone is delicious and fruity, basically like those Korean citron teas with the preserved fruit peels in at the bottom. But the fruitiness does NOT mix well with the cream omg. It’s not like particularly bad or horrible tasting but it’s not good either? Literally the only word I can use to describe it is weird lmao. I’m so sure the cream topping would be delicious with the matcha latte or the hojicha latte cause they’re both creamy milk-based drinks, but it does not go well with the yuzu wtf.
I just really wanted to blog about this to let people know in case they’re considering this combo lmao. Everything else is delicious and I love Tsujiri but pls… don’t get the sakura cream yuzu tea haha. Especially because it was ridiculously priced at like £5 as well! Has anyone else tried? Let me know your thoughts!!

I’m trying to be more creative with my makeup!! This look was actually for a stag/hen do and I dressed up as a fairy with my friend so I wanted to be extra OTT – dunno what the pompoms were for, my head just felt empty loool. I finally tried out the NYX pink liquid liner as well and I’m sooo in love! It’s so vibrant and it stays on SO well! I also tried out another thing by highlighting with a regular pink highlighter and then using glitter pigments to highlight on top though I don’t think it showed up too well haha. Let me know what you guys think!!

Another very casual outfit! The trend is kind of dying now but I still love the t-shirt/slip dress combo, especially with trainers. I normally wear it with Converse but I just felt like wearing a chunkier shoe lol. Makeup-wise was also a very casual type look – I mixed a pink eyeshadow with a peach eyeshadow and layered it with gold to get a kind of rose-gold colour? Idk what I did but I liked it hahaha.

This look was very inspired by Ned Flanders’ beatnik mother Agnes, because I wanted to wear a beret, a turtleneck and glasses haha. The makeup was less inspired because you can’t really see her makeup, minus her dark red lip colour. I used a dark red lip tint as opposed to a lipstick because for some reason I look terrible with most lipsticks unless they’re sheer? I feel like my mouth is too tiny or something hah. Anyway I loved this look and berets and turtlenecks is such a strong combination tbh!!
Duck & Waffle just opened up a sister site in St James so of course Emma and I had to go check it out! We are both huge fans of Duck & Waffle, but it’s not really a casual dining place, with its ridiculously strict policies and the whole having to reserve a space at peak tables, so it’s really great they opened up the Local site, which is way more casual and easier to get a table. In fact, we went on its second day and there were only like 3 other tables occupied, which was great for us haha.

Another outfit post with Choom! This time we met up to see the amazing duo FEMM, who are absolutely incredible performers and have the best latex costumes so, obviously, we had to dress up for that! I was considering wearing latex but didn’t want to feel like a sweaty condom just for a few hours so I opted for a vinyl skirt instead, knowing Choom was wearing vinyl trousers so we could kind of match in our own ways hahaha. I love how we have similar components in our outfits but the way we styled ourselves are completely different!

So another going out outfit this time! I really struggle with deciding what to wear when going out sometimes cause despite the outfits I wear and the pictures I take, I am actually so ridiculously self conscious of my body and it’s really difficult trying to find the right line between being comfortable but also looking good. And by comfortable, I mean feeling comfortable with myself and not how comfortable the clothes are, because I am a-ok with wearing uncomfortable clothes as long as I look fire. Don’t wanna get too deep about body positivity and all that but I just think it’s important when getting dressed to ignore that voice in your head that says ‘ur fat n ugly’ because it’s just chatting shit and this outfit is honestly fire tbh hahahaha. Anyone else go through this same thing every time you’re getting dressed as well??
I’ve been wearing a lot more of this shade of pastel pink lately since I’ve dyed my hair silver/pink and gotten these adorable Puma suede hearts because it’s so much easier to match everything now. Like how well do the shoes and the shirt go together?! Everything is basically the same shade of pink now haha. I love this Lazy Oaf shirt dress as well cause its long enough that I can wear as a dress but I can also just wear it as a longline shirt as well, which is my fave type of item. If anyone wants to get it, it’s still in stock on Asos so hurry up and get on there before it sells out!!! Let me know what you guys think in the comments and also if you got the shirt as well!
